Payment

You are asked to pay estimated rates based on the scheduled rental hours and charges for special equipment before departure. Any excess or deficit will be adjusted after you return the car. A prescribed penalty will be charged if you overrun your scheduled rental hours without prior notice.

 Please use a credit card to make payment.

Fuel charge

Cars are filled with gasoline or diesel before you rent. Fill the tank when you return the car. If you do not, a prescribed fuel charge depending on mileage will be charged. Fuel charges differ depending on shops. Please contact your nearest shop.

One-Way Rate

The "One-Way System" is a convenient system which allows you to return a rented car to any our shops other than the one where you rented it.
In addition, this system is free of charge if cars are returned to shops in the same prefecture (the same area for Hokkaido).
However, returning cars to shops outside the prefecture (outside of the area for Hokkaido) will be charged.

Some shops accept a reservation of the one-way system by phone call to the TOYOTA Rent a Car Reservation Center.

Option/Other Rates

Dispatch and pickup of cars as well as options such as 4WD and child seats will be charged separately.

Some options must be reserved in advance by phone.
You are allowed to carry your pets in the vehicle with some conditions such as vehicle types.
